I took our nice, new camera out in the back yard last spring and captured these cute pictures of the kids. These are so sweet because this was right before I started feeling terrible. We had this last special memory and then I was sick for 8 months. Sick I could live with. But this was terrible morning sickness, not move from the couch out of fear of losing the baby sick for a few months, and so sick that I was horribly miserable for months on end sick. It's nice to be done with all of the SICK! This was exactly one year ago. What a difference a year makes!

Michael and Brenda Visit
Michael, Brenda, Lucas, and Sassafrass came out to visit us one weekend. We loved it! They feel like home to me even though we live so far apart from each other. Audrey loved taking Sassa on walks and loved playing with Lucas even more. It was fun to get our families and babies together to play. Just looking at these pictures makes me want to have them over again... SO I CAN SQUEEZE them with hugs.

Soccer Star
Audrey was the only girl on her team for spring soccer this year. She was lucky #3 and always rocked the zebra print shorts...every single week. This was her first time playing but you would have never been able to guess. She was a hustler and stayed right by that ball for the majority of the time. Brandon got some great action shots during one of her games. Look for her big smile in each picture. A lot of the boys were her good friends by the end of the season. She definitely knows how to hold her own in a group full of boys.
Kelton's normal reaction to a soccer game. Laying around and begging for the soccer snacks.

VA Safari Park
April 26
We heard about this place from a number of people and were dying to try it out. It was worth the visit (even with its high price tag). The animals were cute, the kids had way too much fun looking at everything, and we fed all the animals in the park!
We would pour the food down on the floor of the truck that we went rode out in and the watutsi would lick it up. Watch out for those horns!!
Hold food over the buffalo's nose and it would open its mouth and stick out its tongue and gulp it all down.
Look at that tongue!!!
Ferocious bucket stealing camels! Beware!

Stop at Gramma's house
On Saturday, we checked out and headed to Virginia Beach to meet up with Brandon's old roommate and friend, Wes. We love Wes and Laura and got to meet their cute boys, Logan and Blake, on this visit. The kids had a blast running around with them. Instant best friends. And we had fun eating tasty seafood and talking their ears off. Afterwards, we headed to Gramma's house in Richmond. It was a LONG, but super fun day. We spent the night and enjoyed playing in the backyard the next morning.
